Butterscotch Apples Recipe
Ingredients:
5 pcs of apples; quartered, pared and cored
1/2 tsp of vanilla
1/2 c of water
1/2 Tbsp of cornstarch
1/2 – 1 Tbsp of butter
3/4 c of milk
2/3 c of brown sugar
1/8 tsp of salt
Instructions:
Combine water & sugar in saucepan, bring to a boil. Once it boils, you add apples in. Gently boil, covered ’til apples becomes tender. Take away apples gently from syrup w/ the use of skimmer.
Transfer apples in small dessert bowls.
Mix cornstarch and milk thoroughly in separate pan. Stir & cook ’til mixture boils, and pour into previously made syrup.
Boil it for few mins. Add in vanilla, butter & salt, stirring well.
Once done, pour sauce all over apples.
