Apple Roll Recipe
Ingredients:
4 apples (medium-sized); peeled, cored and finely chopped
2 c of water
1 & 1/2 c of sugar
Rich biscuit dough
Cinnamon
Plain or whipped cream
Instructions:
Cook water & sugar in bake pan placed over low-fire. Roll 1/2-inch thick of ready-made dough, spread w/ apples, then roll up into long dough roll. Slice into 2-inch long pieces.
Arrange w/ cut-side-down in warmed syrup, top w/ small butter piece then dust w/ sugar & cinnamon.
Bake ’til fruit is done & crust is golden-browned. Place on serving platter, drizzle w/ syrup then top w/ cream.
