Apple Float Recipe
Ingredients:
12 pcs of apples (fresh); pared then cored
3 c of refined sugar
1 pc of lemon (large)
2 Tbsps of gelatin (dissolved in 2 c of cold water)
Water (as necessary)
Instructions:
Place apples inside a large saucepan and cover with clean water. Stew till they seem to break; take the softened apples out.
Place sugar into hot water then let syrup boil. Once boiling, place apples back inside and stew till clear and done.
Take the cooked apples out then slice the lemon; add to the hot syrup inside the saucepan. Add the gelatin; let mixture boil.
Place the cooked apples on the platter and pour the warm syrup on top. Serve cold and place cream on the side.
