Apple and Peach Meringue Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
Apples
Peaches
Nutmeg
3 eggwhites
3 Tbsps of powdered sugar
Vanilla
Ready-made pie crust
Instructions:
Stew peaches and apples, adding enough sugar as desired to sweeten. Mash ’til smooth, then season w/ nutmeg.
Scoop into pie crust, filling ’til the brim. Bake ’til done.
Meanwhile, whip eggwhites ’til frothy but stiff and add sugar. Add in vanilla to flavor, beating well ’til hard peaks form. Spread 1/2″ – 1″ thick of meringue into pie. Bake again ’til meringue sets.
